Admin Assistant Buyer *Experienced*
HH Construction are looking for an Experienced Admin Assistant Buyer.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant Buyer at HH Construction Groundworks Contractors Ltd located in Castleford. As an Assistant Buyer, you will support our Purchasing Manager in sourcing and purchasing materials, goods, and services for our projects in a cost-effective and proactive manner. You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate purchasing and pricing database as well as forecasting upcoming purchasing needs. You will also have the opportunity to negotiate with vendors and build relationships that enable us to purchase materials and goods at the best possible prices.

Qualifications & Experienced
Qualifications- preferred, but not essential.
- Proven experience as an Assistant Buyer, procurement specialist, or similar role.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies surrounding procurement, including tendering and contract management.
- IT literate / familiarity with Sage software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications related to construction.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
